CyberHeroes

Academic Year: 2025 | Program: INFO

CyberHeroes

By age 12, 93% of children are online and 40% start as early as 8. Cybersecurity education equips children with digital safety skills, showing potential risks faced when using the internet. Yet, there’s a lack of age-appropriate resources about online safety. We created CyberHeroes, a story-based web platform where 3rd and 4th graders become “CyberHeroes” and learn cybersecurity through interactive lessons, characters, and quizzes. Designed for engagement, privacy, and accessibility, CyberHeroes builds realistic digital safety skills and contributes to valuable resources for parents and teachers. It’s a step toward making cybersecurity education effective and accessible for young learners.
